Auburn – James L Tuttle, 83 of Auburn died Sunday June 18, 2017 at the Laurels of DeKalb in Butler following a battle with Cancer. James was born on July 6, 1933 to Charles and Ester Tuttle of Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Murven Tuttle, a sister Freda Long and a son in law, Mark Rhoades. He is survived by his loving wife Jannis Tuttle, his sons, Stuart Tuttle, Jeff Tuttle and his wife Vickie, Larry Tuttle and his wife Brandy and a daughter Debra Rhodes. There are 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jim retired after 50 plus years at Kitchen Quip as a tool & dye maker in Waterloo. He was an avid coon hunter and started the DeKalb County Coon Hunters Club. He could sit for hours talking about dogs and hunts. He taught his sons and grand children all the important things in life and was always there with a good coon hunting story. He was also an avid fisherman and took several trips to Canada to fish for Walleye. He was also a great Bass fisherman and won several tournaments. He was a lover of good old country music and had lots of favorite singers. He was a man of great integrity and will be missed by everyone who loved him. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will take place Monday June 26, 2017 at 7 PM at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 825 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN.
