Jason Alexander Lowman, 29, of Waterloo passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Jason was born July 24, 1988, in Plattsburg, New York, to Donn P. Lowman Jr. and Dianna L. (Richey) Lowman.

He was a 2007 graduate of DeKalb High School and after graduation enlisted into the United States Army where he served from 2008-2013 during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Jason worked for Metal Technologies Inc. in Auburn.

Jason was an avid outdoorsman. He loved snowboarding and enjoyed working on cars, his home and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a true animal lover and was known to house numerous dogs from time to time. Jason’s true passion in life was the time spent with his family.

Surviving are his parents, Donn P. Lowman Jr. and Dianna L. Lowman of Auburn; three siblings, Jennifer Myers of Auburn, Timothy Lowman of Auburn and Tyler Lowman of Auburn; nephew Jordan Eads of Auburn; niece Riann Myers of Auburn; maternal grandmother Pat Richey of Auburn; paternal grandmother and step-grandfather Diane L. and Richard Bowerman of Auburn; and two aunts, Debra and Rick Perry of South Lyon, Michigan, and Tina Purdue of Auburn.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fred J. Richey Jr.; and paternal grandfather Donn P. Lowman Sr.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2017, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dr. Marcus Carlson will be officiating. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn with military honors being conducted by the United States Army and American Legion Post 97 of Auburn.

Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Feller and Clark Funeral Home to help with expenses.
