Jimmie L Nelson, 85 of Butler died Sunday December 30, 2018 at his home in Butler.

He was born July 20, 1933 in New Haven to the late Howard and Helen (Haverstock) Nelson.

Jimmie helped his parents on the farm and enjoyed Eastside sports especially the sports his nieces and nephews played..

Services will be 1 PM Thursday January 3, 2019, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN with burial to follow in Butler Cemetery.

Calling is 1 hour prior to the service from noon to 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Southern Care Hospice, 7557 West Jefferson, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 or To the Family c/o Chris Hoffelder for the purchase of a memorial bench to be placed near the school in Jimmie's memory.
