Joyce Myers Obituary

Joyce L. Myers, age 59, of Waterloo passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 12, 2018 at her home.

She was born on November 11, 1958 in Auburn to Harold and Orphia (Moore) Cooper. She graduated from DeKalb High School in 1977.

Joyce married Todd Myers on November 10, 2017 in Waterloo.

She has worked at Covington Box and Packaging in Waterloo for the last 6 years. Prior to working at Covington she ran a daycare out of her home for 20 years. She really enjoyed watching not only her grandkids but other kids as well. She was a warm and heartfelt friend and family member. She gracefully enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She treasured the quality time spent at home with Todd and looked forward to coming home to him every day. Joyce came from a large family and she cherished her time with them. She was an avid animal lover. Joyce was a good friend to many!

Her mother; Orphia Cooper-Watkins of Auburn.

Daughter; Michelle Cain of Garrett.

Daughter; Kristen Cain of St. Joseph, Michigan.

Son; Aaron Myers of Auburn.

Son; Andrew Myers of Waterloo.

Daughter and son-in-law; Stephanie and Tyler Stark of Sturgis, Michigan.

6 grandchildren; Tiarra Hinkle, Hannah Clemons, Malory Cain, Tyreese Macon, Alexa Brincefield and Shilynn Cain.

5 great grandchildren.

Sister; Linda Prior of Colorado.

Brother; Lonnie Cox of Auburn.

Sister and brother-in-law; Wilma and Dave Bradas of St. Joseph, Michigan.

Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, one son; Adam Myers, 2 sisters; Betty Cox and Darlene Bowser, brother; Rick Cooper and the father of Michelle and Kristen; John Cain.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 11:00 to 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Sam Weimer.
