Juan Vittonel Obituary

Juan "Johnny" Vittonel, 67, of Auburn, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019, at DeKalb Health in Auburn.

He was born October 6, 1951, in Willacy County, Texas to the late Jose and Ninfa (Esparza) Vittonel.

Juan married Marilyn J. Thorne on December 5, 1972 in Caldwell, Texas, and she passed away March 4, 2016.

He worked at Griffith Rubber Mills in Auburn, retiring after 23 years of service.

Surviving are a daughter, Jessica Vittonel of Auburn; granddaughter, Layla; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ben and Mary Bitonel, Jose and Juanita Vittonel, and Frank Vittonel; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Saturnino Almanza, and Beatrice and David Burrell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Carlos Vittonel and Raul Vittonel; and three sisters, Jovita Vittonel, Elena Garza, and Erma Vittonel.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in Butler Cemetery.
