GARRETT – Kenneth P. Judson, 68, of Garrett died Friday, July 19, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Garrett.
Mr. Judson worked for General Electric in Fort Wayne for over 33 years, retiring in 1995.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War.
Kenneth was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Garrett, American Legion Post 178 of Garrett, Garrett Eagles and Northeast Vietnam Veterans.
He was born April 7, 1945, in Fort Wayne, to George and Wyonna (Strickfaden) Judson.
Kenneth married Gertrude L. “Trudy” Hall on Jan. 6, 1968, in Auburn, and she survives in Garrett.
Also surviving are a son, Richard K. “Rick” Judson and his fiancee, Marie Garavaglia of Avilla; a daughter and son-in-law, Jody L. and Shad Hiles of Garrett; a sister, Georgetta Cable of Angola; two grandchildren, Chelsea Hiles and Courtney Hiles; two step-grandchildren, Mikalynn Lowry and Keith Lowry; and a great grandchild, Moanae Hiles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters, Margaret Trushel, Lucille Trushel, Helen Shephard and Dorothy Brown.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 S. Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery in rural Garrett, with military graveside honors being conducted by the U.S. Army and the American Legion Post 178 of Garrett.
Visitation will also be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
