Kim A. Jacquay, 61, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at his home in rural Auburn.
Kim was born April 12, 1956, in Fort Wayne to William H. Jacquay Sr. and Joyce A. (Howes) Jacquay. His father preceded in death and his mother survives in Auburn.
Kim worked as an electrician for over 40 years in the Warsaw and Auburn area.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 97 of Auburn and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Syracuse.
Kim enjoyed sitting in the backyard by the bonfire, cooking, grilling and spending time with family and friends.
He married Peggy Grabill on September 24, 2017, in Auburn, and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kim Jacquay Jr. and his wife, Amanda B. of Warsaw; four step-children and their spouses, Tom and Meranda Garman of Huntertown, Jasmine Jacquay of Arizona, Julie Jacquay of Arizona, and Josh Secor of Warsaw; grandson, Baylee A. Jacquay; granddaughter, Aurora Garman; five siblings and their spouses, William H. “Bill” Jr. and Kathy Jacquay of Butler, Christal A. (Bill Petty) Busé of Orland, Earl F. and Marcy Jacquay of Warsaw, Ken L. and Diane Jacquay of Auburn, and Vincent O. and Dawn Jacquay of Butler; sister-in-law, Kathy Jacquay of Rushville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Sue Jacquay; sister, Karen Jacquay; brother-in-law, Jim Busé; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Forrest and Patricia Carper.
A memorial service will take place at 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Pastor Jeff House officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018, prior to the service at the funeral home.
