Lloyd Perkins, 65, of Fort Wayne passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne.

Lloyd was born September 28, 1952, in Fort Wayne to the late James Thomas and Mary Jane (King) Perkins.

He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1971-1974.

Lloyd worked for several years at Foamex in Fort Wayne, retiring in April of 2015.

He attended Calvary Temple in Fort Wayne.

Surviving are seven siblings and their spouses, Fern Christine Lloyd of Beattyville, Kentucky, Jerry Lee (Marilyn) Perkins of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Irene (Kenny) Myers of Garrett, Darlene (Harry) Riley of Auburn, Marilyn (Walter) Couch of Hazard, Kentucky, Elaine Beck of Auburn and Tina (Ray) Lawson of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kenneth M. Perkins; grandparents Otis and Leatha Perkins and George and Arvenia King; close friend Larry Custer; and sisters Lida Ruth Perkins, Lorraine Perkins and Helen Perkins.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Pastor Walter R. Couch officiating. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Huntertown.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
