Where does one begin to tell about a wonderful lady that served everyone Especially her God.
If our body parts were soldiers for God she would be the heart.
Many times I would take Marge out for lunch- breakfast-or dinner, we would talk about things in our lives cheering each other on, or simply enjoying our surroundings. I always found Marge to be a trill to be with.
She would get excited with me! especially when we spied antiques, Marge and I had this thing about old, it was rich in memories, and lasted for ever, she was a great listener too,Although I think I did most the talking ( lol ) we talked about the clothes we wore, our hair styles , but one thing she never talked about was other people, unless it was in a good thoughtful kind way, not one word of hate came from her, oh she hated the sin around her, but the word Marge would have used was disliked,
Marge was a skilled worker she reminded me of the
Priscilla in the bible , Acts 18:26 tells us that Priscilla, along with her husband Aquila was a tent-maker, a skilled worker and this too was my Marge, she could sew, she could garden , she could teach , and man could she cook ! She was a cafeteria worker for years in the Dekalb CO elementary schools, the cheer and serving she gave to so many people and especially children’

Marge reminds me of several women of the bible and I will tell of three
Take for instance
1. Mary (the mother of Jesus )• An angel appeared to her, announcing she had been chosen to give birth to Jesus (Luke 1:30-33).
Mary submitted herself to God’s will (1:38).

As my Marge did to her family, friends and neighbors

2. Another one • Ruth’s,--- her vow to Naomi is one of the most beautiful statements of commitment in Scripture (Ruth 1:16-17).
Her obedience to God brought rich rewards (4:10-17)

Marge was also blessed with rich rewards, rich with family and friends and a long giving life, I thought she would live forever.• She was devoted to making sure her family was well, the prayers we shared ,the talk of hope and good things for all of her family. she never stopped caring and speaking highly of them, (all of them) husbands, wives, children, no one was left out! she truly loved them all and went out of her way to make sure they felt loved.

3. Esther’s courage and wisdom were used by God to save His people from extinction.
Beauty and creativity are also useful tools for a God-fearing woman.

Marge was also a creator , if I had everything she had created and helped the grand kids create it would fill this church , she could sew, she could color with the smallest child.
The times she went among her church people assisting them when needed, driving for them, cooking for them, and working with the church praying with the church , never have I seen a more devoted soldier for Christ Almighty !

One day we talked about death , she was a little concerned with it, I told her about my near death exp and it comforted her, and I know now she is with God , talking with him holding his hand, hugging him, and probably getting all the little children ready for a big supper , that is something she loved to do make sure the little ones were happy in doing something or eating something,
Another time I set with Marge and we would drink tea together , and watch old movies, one of our favorites was Little Women, Marge loved how the children loved their mother and each other and took pride in being thoughtful, I would even go as far to say Little women describes Marge to a -T
One of the most beautiful souls God ever allowed to come on this earth is now back home with him, I will miss her as I am sure her whole family and friends will I just wanted to share a word about her and how great she was ( chuckle ) in case you didn’t know .
I DO HAVE TO SHARE one incident, once we were driving down this wooded path , we came to a tree in the trail , Marge in her 60ties,spoke up and said “ I’ll get it!” before I could say anything and me being in my thirties, she jumps! out of the truck and moves that log, I had to chuckle with surprise’ I have never seen that age move that fast, then that same day one of my children’s boot came off and started down the river, Marge removing her shoes, ran into the water and caught up that shoe, her electricity of energy just moved me, as she was coming out of the water I yelled SNAKE !! man did she run , she came out and looked back then looked at me and
smiled ,’oh you,” she could take a joke and run with it ,

My mother had gone home to Jesus yrs ago.
Marge had taken her place and what a mother she was to me
I love you Aunt Marge and I will always remember you , you taught me to be the person I need to be
Yes Marge you were great !
Your LOVING MEMORY will live on in me
GIVE UNCLE JOHN A HUG FOR ME
