Maryann Brandt, 61, of Angola passed Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Maryann was born May 5, 1956, in Geneva to Henry and Barbara (Hilty) Schwartz.
She married Dennis Brandt on February 28, 1987, in Metz, and he survives in Angola.
Maryann worked in customer service for Tyden Brooks in Angola for 36 years, retiring Jan. 31, 2018.
She was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola.
Maryann loved life. She enjoyed golfing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Also surviving are four children and their spouses, Crista Jones of Warsaw, Jason and Amy Brandt of Ashley, Melinda and Mark Kimpel of Angola and Barbara and Jerry Black of Angola; six grandchildren, Mark (Ashley) Kimpel Jr., Savannah Shepherd, Beau Hanshaw, Michael Kimpel, Brock Hanshaw and Kaden Black; great-granddaughter Ashlyne Kimpel; three brothers; and three sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a sister.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 700 W. Maumee St., Angola, with visitation from 10–11 a.m. Monday prior to the service at the church. Father Bernie Zajdel will be officiating. Burial will take place in Circle Hill Cemetery in Angola.
Visitation also will be from 2–6 p.m. Sunday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo with the rosary being recited at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
