Michael L Boger

Auburn – Michael L Boger, 76 of Auburn died Monday July 30, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born September 25, 1941 in Auburn to Harold A. and Dorothy A. (Mavis) Boger. Mike was a US Navy Veteran serving from 1959 to 1963. He was a Supervisor at Dana Corporation for 37 years retiring in 1999. He then worked at International Harvester for two years and Feller and Clark Funeral Home for 12 years until 2015 when he and his companion Faye Tarlton decided to split their time between Auburn and their home in Arizona. Mike was a member and past President of the Auburn Lions Club. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge #214 and Auburn Moose Lodge #566. He married Carol Sweet on September 3, 1966 in St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville and she passed away April 24, 2012. He is survived by a daughter, Marsha Cunningham (John Sanders) of Fort Wayne; 2 grandchildren Mackenzie Cunningham and Avery Cunningham both of Fort Wayne; a brother Larry Boger of Fort Wayne, 2 sisters, Carolyn Trammel and Marlene Boger both of Auburn and 2 sisters in laws Jean Boger of St. Joe and Jane Boger of Auburn. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 brothers, Franklin Boger, John Boger and Clarence Boger, a sister, Gloria Boger, 2 sisters in laws, Linda Boger and Nancy Boger and a brother in law Jerry Trammel. Services will be 2 PM Friday August 3, 2018 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Auburn with the US Navy Honor. Calling is Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home and there will be a Lions Club Memorial Service Thursday at 8 PM at the funeral home.
