Oscar E. Ousley

Oscar E. Ousley, age 87, of Garrett died Saturday, February 24, 2018 at DeKalb Health in Auburn. 

He was born on July 7, 1930 in Hippo, Kentucky to William and Margarett (Bailey) Ousley.

Mr. Ousley enjoyed collecting and working on clocks of all kinds.  He always had a large garden and had the best vegetables that he liked to share with his family and friends.  He also enjoyed going to auctions and garage sales.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids.  He was very proud of his family.

Daughter and son-in-law; Valerie and Mike Woodward of Ashley.

Daughter; Brenda Ousley of Fort Wayne.

Son; Charles Ousley of Auburn.

Daughter; Karen Bradley of Goshen.

Daughter and son-in-law; Sharon and Chris Garn of Garrett.

Daughter and son-in-law; Janet and Jim Rowe of Waterloo.

Daughter and son-in-law; Helen and Phil Price of Garrett.

15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Sister; Marie Jones of Garrett.

Sister; Norma Jones of Avilla.

Sister and brother-in-law; Sandra and Delmar Handshoe of Garrett.

Several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson; Zach Albright, great grandson; Rilee Woodward, son-in-law; Tony Bradley, 2 brothers; Rady Ousley and Charles Ousley and 3 sisters; Ioma Jones, Bobbie Greenwell and Lucy Ousley.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Christian Union Brethren in Christ Church, 4395 CR 7 in Garrett.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday March 1, 2018 at 4:00 PM at the Christian Union Brethren in Christ Church in Garrett.

Officiating the memorial service will be Pastor Joe Laher with the Christian Union Brethren in Christ Church.
