Phyllis J (Weicht) Kummer

Waterloo – Phyllis J Kummer, 85 of Waterloo died Sunday November 25, 2018 at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler. She was born February 12, 1933 in Waterloo to Albert and Beatrice (Wilson) Weicht. She worked as a Corporate Secretary at Indiana Decorative Products in Waterloo from 1970 until 1995. She also worked alongside her husband Richard on the family farm. Phyllis is a member of the Auburn First United Methodist Church in Auburn. She married Richard Kummer on July 28, 1953 in the Auburn Methodist Church and he survives in Waterloo. She is also survived by 2 sons and daughter in laws, Larry D and Cheryl Kummer of Auburn and Tim E and LuAnn Kummer of Waterloo. There are 3 grandchildren, Jacob (Jessica) Kummer, Jonathan Kummer and Montana Kummer, a great grandson Jonas Kummer and a brother in law, Max Trubey. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Robert Weicht and 2 sisters, Doris Menges and Carolyn Trubey. Services will be 11 AM Wednesday November 28, 2018 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo with burial to follow in Waterloo Cemetery.
