Joyce - sure was sorry to see that we have lost another legendary State Farm "Character" who we all loved and admired. I have ALWAYS enjoyed hearing your Dad tell stories about the early days in his career and the fun and camaraderie that was had by all at the monthly meetings. He always made us glad when he showed up in the Life Underwriting Dept to spend some time with us...He was "SPECIAL" and we all knew it!

Just heard about Raymond's passing. He was a unique man. I enjoyed my time chatting with him about just about anything you could think of. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Raymond. You will be reunited with him again right here on a brand new Paradise Earth under Jesus Christ Kingdom rule that he taught his followers to pray to come in the Lord's Prayer no more sickness pain or death Life Without End Acts 24:15; Revelation 21:1-4.

To the family: So sorry for your loss. I praise God for allowing me the opportunity to meet Hoover & will never forget him & what he taught us all. Always enjoyed his humor. A man with this type of personality & energy leaves a hole in the heart that only the Lord can fill & in time the tears of today will turn into laughter. Memories are of the great gifts from God & after you grieve you will not be able to help remember Hoover with the robust laughter & infectious smile. Thoughts & prayers are for you during this difficult time. Our deepest sympathy

We only have fun memories of Hoover, starting at about age 5. Christmas eve parties particularly stand out. Initially, with the whole Ketel family and later when I played Rudolf and my dad was Santa at the Hefty family parties. It was good seeing Hoover again at the family reunion. There is no doubt that he will be missed.
