Garrett – Richard W Brincefield, 88 of Garrett died Wednesday March 7, 2018 at Millers Merry Manor in Garrett. He was born March 12, 1929 to Guy and Gladys (Sill) Brincefield. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Richard was a Plaster Contractor for over 50 years. He was Co-Owner of Ashfields Plastering and also worked for A – Z Cleaning. He was a member of Altar Star United Methodist Church and Garrett American Legion Post 178. He married Rosita M Alcantar on July 18, 1947 in Fort Wayne and she passed away February 1, 2016. He is survived by a daughter and son in law, Renee and Jack Smurr of Garrett; 2 grandchildren, Jack (Ashlie) Smurr and Candace Lewis and her fiancé Tom Davis; 3 great grandsons, Ty Smurr, Blake Lewis and Logan Lewis and a brother, Don Brincefield. Services will be 2 PM Sunday March 11, 2018 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN with calling 2 hours prior to the service from 12 to 2 at the funeral home.
