Robert Gary “Bob” “Mac” McEntarfer, 72, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born Feb. 1, 1946, in Auburn to the late Harold and Marilyn (Gushwa) McEntarfer.
Bob worked as an electrician for the IBEW Union 445 in Battle Creek, Michigan. He also owned and operated Edison Electric in Wyoming and was a licensed State inspector for the State of Wyoming.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Michigan Center.
Bob was a true dog lover. He also enjoyed being around people, traveling, mountains and spending time in God’s country out West.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Julia and Edgar Cabrera of Batavia, Illinois, and Shelly and Jason Morris of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Elena Cabrera, Scott Cabrera, and Kayla Brooks; two great- grandchild, Clayton Householder and Autumn Brooks; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Cindy McEntarfer of Butler; sister, Beverly McEntarfer of Montclair, New Jersey; nephew, Nathan (Trina) McEntarfer of Auburn; niece, Lindsae (Cody) Mitchener of Pleasant Lake; and 17 great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Brandon Sutton.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with the Rev. Ken Walker officiating. Burial will take place in Waterloo Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
