Angola – Robert Daniel Mitman – 73 of Angola died Friday November 30, 2018 at his home in Angola. He was born in Nazareth, PA on January 13, 1945 to the late Earl V and Elsie Mae (Wieand) Mitman. Robert graduated from Woodstown High School in Woodstown, New Jersey in 1964. He spent many years in food manufacturing at Food Fair and Schmidt Baking Company in New Jersey and New Horizon Baking in Fremont retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Auburn Church of the Nazarene. He was a member of the Auburn Community Band and the Gideon’s. Robert enjoyed music, hunting and fishing. He performed as a guest soloist in many venues. He married his childhood sweetheart Janice Arlena Donelson on July 31, 1965 at the Glenside Church of the Nazarene in Pennsville, New Jersey and she survives in Angola. Also surviving are 2 daughters and a son, Janice Ilene (Patrick) Smith of Salem Center, Michelle (Leonard) Fenton of Auburn and Michael (Heather) Mitman of Angola; 12 grandchildren, Brittany N Smith, Zachary T.J. (Alexandria) Smith, Nathanael Fenton, Daniel Fenton, Kayla (Matthew “Lee”) Mitman-Stoy, Kendra Mitman, Kaitlynne Mitman, Deven Mitman, Reese Mitman, Haelea Mitman, Allen Mitman and Adam Mitman; a sister, Gloria F Mitman-Donelson of Auburn and a brother William M (Kathleen) Mitman of Quinton, New Jersey. Services are 11 am Thursday December 6, 2018 at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene with Rev Doug Thomas officiating. Burial will follow the service in Circle Hill Cemetery in Angola. Calling is Wednesday from 2 to 7 PM at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN.
