Scott Koch Obituary

Scott T. Koch, age 56, of Waterloo passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 18, 1961 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Tom and Marge (Sauder) Koch.  He was a 1980 graduate of Woodlan High School in Woodburn. 

He married Susan Wells on November 26, 1985 in Fort Wayne.  She resides in Waterloo.

Scott worked for the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 166 out of Fort Wayne for many years.  He worked for various contractors in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.  KOSA!  He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and he also enjoyed hunting.  He enjoyed sports of all kinds and he especially liked watching the Hoosiers, Cubs and Blackhawks.  Most of all Scott liked being with his family and spending time with his grandkids.

Survivors Include:

His wife of 32 years; Susan Koch of Waterloo.

Son and daughter-in-law; Pastor Ryan and Nicole Koch of Huntertown.

Son; Brandon Koch of Fort Wayne.

Three grandchildren; Hudson, Oliver and Caroline.

His mother; Marge Koch of Harlan.

Brother and sister-in-law; Steve and Pam Koch of Leo.

Sister and brother-in-law; Marlene and Steve Smith of Fort Wayne.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; Tom Koch.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Crossview Church, 12532, Grabill Road in Grabill. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 4:00 PM at the Crossview Church in Grabill.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Ryan Koch and Steve Koch.

Memorial donations may be directed to Parkview Noble Hospice,   

1836 Ida Red Road, Kendallville, Indiana 46755.
