Stephen Keuneke Obituary

Stephen F. Keuneke, age 67, of Butler passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his Butler home.

He was born on October 27, 1951 in Fort Wayne to Marvin and Eva (Miller) Keuneke. 

Steve married Carmen Michele Barth in May of 2003.  She preceded him in death on May 27, 2017.

He worked at Vulcraft in St. Joe for many years.  He then worked at Evans Trucking in Butler for a few years before retiring in 2008.

Steve was a member of the Butler Eagles.  He was an avid bowler and he was a huge NASCAR fan, he especially liked driver Mark Martin.

Survivors Include:

His mother; Eva Keuneke of Waterloo.

Daughter and son-in-law; Jenn and Scott Young of Zionsville, Indiana.

Son and daughter-in-law; Jeff and Kerri Keuneke of Jackson, Mississippi.

Son; Jeremy Barth of Kendallville.

Son and daughter-in-law; Chris and Sarina Barth of Ohio.

11 grandchildren.

Sister and brother-in-law; Mary and Skip Baughman of Nevada.

Brother and sister-in-law; Tom and Nancy Keuneke of Hamilton.

Brother; Jim Keuneke and Helen Mearing of Butler.

Sister and brother-in-law; Sharon and Barry Manahan of Hamilton.

Brother; Mark Keuneke of Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father, his wife; Carmen Michele Keuneke and a daughter; Jessica Barth.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Butler United Methodist Church, 501 West Green Street in Butler.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Butler United Methodist Church in Butler.

Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Kevin Marsh.
