Terry L. Rigsby

Terry L. Rigsby, age 68 of Fort Wayne passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born in Auburn on July 29, 1949 to Chester and Willa Donellda (Brand) Rigsby.  Terry was a 1967 graduate of Ashley High School. 

He married Denise Botset on June 14, 1970 at the Ashley Church of God.  She resides in Fort Wayne.

Terry worked for Messenger Corporation in Auburn for 35 years as a shipping clerk from 1967 to 2003.  He then worked as a security guard for 5 years at DeKalb Memorial Hospital from 2004 until retiring in 2009.

Before moving to Fort Wayne Terry attended the Independent Full Gospel Church in Ashley.  Once they moved to Fort Wayne he and Denise attended the Tillman Road Church of God in Fort Wayne.  In his spare time Terry enjoyed watching Judge Judy and car races on TV.  He also liked going to tractor and horse pulls.  More than anything Terry enjoyed spending time with his family.   

Survivors Include:

His wife; Denise Rigsby of Fort Wayne.

Son; Rodney Rigsby of Fort Wayne.

Daughter and son-in-law; Terra and Scott Miller of Fort Wayne.

5 grandchildren; Taylor Rigsby, Macy Rigsby, Brooke Rigsby, Autumn Rigsby and Rocket Rigsby.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister; Connie Rigsby-Nash.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo.  Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Waterloo. 

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Bill Bradley and Pastor Sam Weimer.

Burial will take place at Hill Side Cemetery in Pleasant Lake.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Rigsby family to help with expenses.
