AUBURN — Ty Louis Quinonez, 25, of Auburn, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, in Fort Wayne from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Ty was born May 26, 1992, in Auburn.

He was a 2011 graduate of DeKalb High School. After graduation, he worked four years at OmniSource in Auburn. He was currently working for Crossroads RV in Topeka.

Ty was an avid motorcyclist. He enjoyed spending time in his garage working on cars and his lowrider truck. He was known at work for making everyone smile and laugh and was very adventurous and loved a good adrenaline rush, but his true passion in life was spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also loved spending time with his family and friends at the lake fishing and hanging out at the sandbar.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Staci and Steve Hensley of Auburn; two sisters, Megan Jordan of Waterloo and Kylee Gordan and her fiance, Myron Miller, of Goshen; two nephews, Phaetyn Jordan and Layne Jordan of Waterloo; two nieces, Cheleigh Jordan of Waterloo and Grace Miller of Goshen; maternal grandparents Marilyn Joseph of Auburn and Snowden and Mary Hensley of Auburn; paternal grandparents Juan and Sally Quinonez of Auburn; paternal great-grandfather Remigo Quinonez of Auburn; aunts and uncles Rick and Jan Joseph of Indianapolis, Terry and Jill Joseph of Indianapolis, JoEllen and Tim Knott of Garrett, MaChelle Joseph and Carlson Collier of Atlanta, Georgia, Tracy and Holly Joseph of Avilla and Cole and Beth Quinonez of Auburn; and his best friend, Ryan Fox.

He was preceded in death by his father, Che Louis Quinonez in 1995; grandfather Jerry Joseph; and uncle David Joseph.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn. Pallbearers will be, Ryan Fox, Zach Conroy, Jon Zimmerman, Luke Barnhart, Colby Knott, Myron Miller, Cole Quinonez and Austin Gallegos.

Visitation also will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
