Auburn – Vivian Wilson Watts, 86, died Friday January 12, 2018 at her home in Auburn. She was a teacher in the DeKalb Central School District for twenty nine years. She attended Indiana University at Bloomington and is a lifetime member of the Indiana University Alumni Association. She is a member of the First Church of Christ in Garrett, a member of DeKalb Retired Teachers Association and a lifetime member of the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of Gamma Lambda Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. She served on the board of directors of Rise Incorporated and worked many years as a hospital volunteer. She was born November 18, 1931 in Milan, Indiana to the late James and Grace Wilson. She married Ray Watts on April 18, 1953 in Milan and he died August 12, 1961. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and William Davidson of Auburn; a sister Shirley Weiss of Camden, OH; a brother-in-law, James Watts of Versailles, Indiana; a grandson, Tobias Blech of Auburn; two step-grandsons, Chris Davidson of Fort Wayne and Brett Davidson of Waterloo; two great grandsons and a great granddaughter, Stone Davidson, Roc Davidson and Halie Kremer and one great, great grandson, Braxton Kremer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son John Watts, a daughter Jean Marie Watts, a sister, Margaret Ehlers and a brother Buell Wilson. Services will be 11 AM Wednesday January 17, 2018 at the First Church of Christ in Garrett with Brother Bud Owen officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 7 PM at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN and also 1 hour prior to the service Wednesday from 10 to 11 at the church. Burial will follow at a later date in Cliff Hill Cemetery, Versailles, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to DeKalb Home Health and Hospice. To send condolences visit www.fellerandclark.com.
