Adam Michael Sutton, 42, of Auburn, passed away on March 3, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, after a battle with pneumonia, surrounded by his loved ones.
It is impossible to capture Adam’s essence in a few sentences. Father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Adam was all of this and so much more.
Adam was born in Angola, Indiana, on November 28, 1983, to Jewell L. (Hertel) Sutton and Randy L. Sutton Sr. He attended DeKalb High School in Waterloo, Indiana, where he was a member of the 2000-2001 DeKalb Barons basketball team that was undefeated during regular season.
The greatest pride and joy of Adam’s life was his daughter and best friend, Willow Grace Sutton. He loved watching her participate in softball, volleyball, and cheerleading, as well as school events, plays, and musicals at Lakewood Park Christian School. They loved cooking together, playing video games, listening to music, dancing, watching sports, and hanging out—all while teasing each other relentlessly.
A financial advisor and avid sports fan, he loved writing and speaking on fantasy football for FantasyPros and ESPN Central Texas, cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels, spending time with his friends and family, listening to and producing music, and perfecting his smoked brisket.
An attendee of Dayspring Community Church in Auburn, he found solace in the Lord, and his greatest wish was to lead someone to Jesus Christ the way he had been saved.
He is survived by his parents, Jewell and Randy; two brothers and three sisters; his niece and nephews; and countless relatives, friends, clients, and neighbors who are privileged enough to know, love, and remember him always.
