Anna Marie Albertson, “Marie”, passed away on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, after 6 p.m. She suffered a severe aneurysm just days before on Thursday.
She is survived by her fiancé, Brian Bolduc; mother, Carole Kohli; siblings, Paul (Beth) Kohli, Fred Kohli, Joanne (Kent) Sanborn, James Kohli, Jane (Randy) Penick and Dave (Brianne) Kohli; children, Hope Neely (Alex Hammond), Isaac Grear (Amanda Whitson) and Samuel (Ashley) Grear; and grandchildren, Isaac Whitson, Reece Whitson, CJ and Ashlynn.
Marie was born in Lima, Ohio, and her family eventually moved to Angola, Indiana, where she spent a large portion of her life. In recent years she moved to Mountain City, Tennessee, to live closer to her grandchildren.
She enjoyed kayaking, riding her bike, and hiking. Marie grew up on a farm and built her own hobby farm in recent years.
She was a nurse in dialysis for many years and in different settings after she moved to Tennessee.
Marie was full of life and her passing is a huge shock for anyone who knew and loved her. She is an organ donor and her lungs, liver, and kidney were viable for recipients in need. She was a loving, giving, caring woman. She is so, dearly loved and missed.
