Barbara J (Ish) Henderson

Auburn – Barbara J Henderson, 76 of Auburn, passed away, Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Parkview Randalia Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born April 27, 1949 in Auburn to Dr. Roger and Jane (Stingle) Ish and they have both passed away.

Barb was a 1967 graduate of Waterloo High School

She was a hairstylist for 45 years, 15 of those years at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler which she really enjoyed.

Barb was a member of County Line Church of God, Main Campus and always enjoyed the company of their Bichon.

She married Gary D. Henderson on October 29, 1977 in the Waterloo United Methodist Church and he survives in Auburn.

Also surviving is a daughter and 2 sons, Jennifer (Dave) Casper of Auburn, Jason (Melissa Hardin) Reynolds of Auburn and Josh Henderson of Auburn; 3 grandsons, Zachary (Kaylee) Casper, Logan Casper and Landon Henderson; 3 great grandchildren, Caroline Casper, Ruby Casper and Calvin Casper; 2 brothers, Bob (Eilene) Ish of Carbondale, Colorado and David Ish of St. Louis, Missouri.

No services are planned at this time; a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Feller and Clark Funeral Home of Auburn are assisting the family with arrangements.
