Barbara L (Rempis) Teller

Garrett – Barbara L Teller, 95 of Garrett passed away Saturday May 10, 2025 at Millers Merry Manor in Garrett.

She was born April 19, 1930 in Waterloo to Lester and Anna (Conway) Rempis.

Barbara was a 1948 graduate of Ashley High School.

She worked at Creek Chub Bait Company and Stanadyne Company until her retirement in 1991.

Barbara was a member of the First Church of Christ in Garret, Volunteered for Miller’s Merry Manor for many years and belonged to the DeKalb Historical Society.

She married Paul R Teller in 1956 and he passed away in 1985.

Barbara is survived by 2 daughters, Laura Davis and her husband Christopher of Garrett and Larraine Getz and her husband Armand of Carey, Ohio, 2 daughters-in-Laws, Sarah Teller of St. Joe and Susan Teller of Albion; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons, Edwin Teller and Clifford Teller, a sister, Marguerite Braunstein and a brother, William Rempis.

Services will be 2 PM Friday May 16, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN 46793. Burial will follow the service in Flint Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service Friday from 1 to 2 at the funeral home.
