Beth Aldrich Obituary

Beth Anne Aldrich, 54, went home to rest with our Lord and Savior on Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, after winning her battle over ovarian cancer. She won because she never let the tough times get the better of her or her soul.

Beth was born on Sept. 22, 1971, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was a graduate of DeKalb High School and was active in the Marching Band.

Regardless of the challenges facing her, she always made space for her family, friends and especially her grandchildren to gather and be joyous.

Beth married Keith Aldrich on Aug. 24, 1991, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Auburn.

She found purpose as a school bus driver for DeKalb Central School District for 11 years, and then as a dental assistant when living in Monroe, Michigan.

She found comfort tending to her flower gardens and cooking.

When Beth first faced cancer, she raced toward Jesus with all her might. A journey which started as one looking for healing, quickly turned into a passion to be close with The One Most High.

This passion then transformed into a desire for ministering to others as she became a graduate of Encounter School of Ministry. Even until her homecoming, she said, “Keep your eyes on Heaven.”

She touched many lives with her hope for unification with God, and in remembering her we can allow her to continue ministering to us. Let us be so blessed to have the zeal which she had for God the Father.

She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Fort Wayne.

Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Keith Aldrich, of Fort Wayne; mother, Mary (Klejnot) Wise, of Sarasota, Florida; three children, Audrey and Joshua Martin, of Carmel, Aaron Aldrich and Angela Sheets, of Auburn and Cameron Aldrich, of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Evelynn Martin, Cora Martin and Paisley Aldrich; brother, Dallas McDiffitt Jr., of Sarasota, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; great-great-nieces; and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dallas McDiffitt; and a brother, Kennth Opliger.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 a.m., on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service at the church.
