Brian E. Graves, 50, of Kendallville, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born December 17, 1974, in Coldwater, Michigan to Gene L. and Laura L. (Hackman) Graves.
Brian was a 1993 graduate of Angola High School. He went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University in Bloomington in 1998 and attended the prestigious Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration for a summer.
Brian was an accountant at the Dana Corporation for several years.
He was a long-time member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Kendallville.
Brian collaborated with his fellow peers at New Hope Clubhouse in Kendallville.
Surviving are his mother, Laura Graves of Durham, North Carolina; and a brother, Kevin (Alisha Imel-Graves) Graves of Corpus Christy, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene L. Graves.
A celebration of Brian’s life will take place at a later date.
A private graveside service will take place at Pleasant Lake Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to New Hope Clubhouse in Kendallville, Trinity United Methodist Church, Kendallville, or National Alliance on Mentally Illness.
