Bryan S. Johnston, 50 of Garrett, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, October 24, 2025.
He was born on February 18, 1975 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Ralph and Jennifer (Nicole) Johnston. He was a 1994 graduate of Garrett High School.
Bryan married Jennifer D. Bishop on May 29, 1999 in Garrett and she continues to reside in Garrett.
He had worked for Snyder Food Service in Kendallville for the last 13 years. Bryan loved music! He enjoyed listening to music and he could play the drums, piano and any stringed instrument. He was also very artistic and he enjoyed drawing and painting. Bryan was truly an amazing person and he was loved by all.

His wife, Jennifer D. Johnston of Garrett.
His mother, Jennifer R. Johnston of Coldwater, Michigan.
His mother-in-law and father-in-law, Vicki and Tom Bishop of Auburn.
Sister and brother-in-law, Shannon and Michael Anderson of Garrett.
Two nephews, Tyler Vogel and Evan Bishop.
Two nieces, Lily Bishop and her fiancé, Alhmad Jernigan and Emma Bishop (Zach Bergeon).
One great niece, Kamiyah Jernigan.
Bryan was proceeded in death by his father, Ralph Johnston and brother-in-law, Doug Bishop.
A celebration of life for Bryan will be held at a later date.
