Burr R. Wineland, 48, of Waterloo, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, in Auburn.
He was born October 7, 1976, in Auburn, Indiana to Larry and Susan (Shull) Wineland.
Burr loved working in a warehouse where he was a forklift driver.
Burr enjoyed fishing, working on cars, old coins, history, going to concerts and listening to music, poetry, Stephen King books and movies, and sports, especially the Chicago Bears. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Larry and Cindy Wineland of Kendallville; five siblings, Leah and Chris Miller of Grabill, Tyler and Angie Cole of Fort Wayne, Wade Schmidt of Fort Wayne, Shawn and Kevin Hart of Leo and Aimee Conley of Huntertown; and a nephew, Christopher and Lindsy Miller of Grabill.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Wineland.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 3 – 6 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2024, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn.
Burial will take place at a later date at Christian Union Cemetery in rural Garrett.
Memorials may be directed to Feller and Clark Funeral Home to help with expenses.
