Charles E Miller

Waterloo – Charles E Miller, 70 of Waterloo passed away Sunday May 11, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born January 25, 1955 in Auburn to Robert A. Miller Sr and Eileen F (Zinn) Miller.

Charles was a graduate of Eastside High School in Butler.

He was a former police officer for the Butler police Department serving for 15 years. After his retirement from the police department, he worked for the City of Garrett in the Utilities Department for 30 years before retiring in 2020.

Charles was a member of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, the Sons of the American Legion Post 202 of Butler and American Legion Riders.

He is survived by a daughter and a son, Heather N Miller of Gunnison, Colorado and Benton R Miller of Kendallville; 2 brothers and a sister, Robert A Miller, Jr of Auburn, Roger D Miller of Auburn and Marilyn A Miller and her fiancé, Gary Laub of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, David L Miller and a sister, Carolyn E Miller.

Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN 46793. Burial will follow the service in Butler Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service Wednesday from 12 to 2 PM at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Charles to the Sons of the American Legion post 202 of Butler.
