Charles Talmadge Flinders Jr.

Ashley – Charles Talmadge Flinders Jr, 56, passed away Monday April 21, 2025 in Ashley, Indiana where he resided.

Charles was born on August 13, 1968 in Genoa, Ohio to Goldie Christine and Charles Talmadge Flinders. They have both passed away as has his sister, Sara Hixson.

He was a dirt track racing enthusiast. Many Saturday nights were spent at Oak Shade Raceway. He was also able to attend many NASCAR races at Bristol Motor Speedway to watch his favorite driver, Mark Martin.

Chuck enjoyed fishing, campfires, cornhole and playing shuffleboard at Beers, where he was known for his spunky attitude.

He was blessed with three daughters, Elaina Christine Flinders, Miranda Carlene Flinders and Breanna Gold Flinders all of Hudson, IN.

Surviving family also includes stepfather John Gilbert, 2 sisters, Rena Dawes and Mona Overmyer-Hernandez, and a brother Josh Gilbert.
