Charles L. Mann, 73, of Auburn, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025.
He was born on July 22, 1952, in Martin, Kentucky to Johnny and Betty (Emanuel) Mann.
Charles worked in maintenance for Air-Way Global Manufacturing for 10 years. He then went to work as a machine operator for TI Group Automotive Systems for six years, retiring in 2014.
He married Amy L. Sumner on July 2, 2001, at the Waterloo Freewill Baptist Church in Waterloo.
He enjoyed playing guitar, playing horseshoes and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Amy Mann; eight children Tammy (Matthew) Steven of Poneto, Melissa Nelson of Hamilton, Amy (Donny Morningstar) Baker of Garrett, Lesly (Michael) Sammons) Prater of Butler, Derrick Kowalski of Fort Wayne, Amanda (Skylar Burney) Kinder of Waterloo, and Andrea Compton of Fort Wayne; 18 grandchildren, Johnathon Wickline, Christian Fuller, Kayleigh Mann, Drake and Brayden Baker, Brandon, Scott and Jarod Shirk, Carter West, Maliah Snook, Zander and Aydin Sammons, Jaycee, Rheid, Paisley Burney, and Bentlee, Liam and Kohen Compton; 11 great grandchildren; Jolene, Natalie, Noah and Maya Wickline, Carl Mann, Madison, Jarren and Kalie Fuller, Emerey Salisbury, Shelby, Freya and Oakley shirk: and five siblings, Jesse (Jessica) Mann of Cookeville, Tennessee, Ross (Melissa) Mann of Columbia, Tennessee, Johnnie (Tami) Mann of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, Tom (Becca) Mann of Albion, Michigan, and Betty (Larry) Woods of Auburn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Floyd and Johnny “Ed” Mann; four sisters, Mary Rodman, Louise Osbun, Pearl Mann and Blanche Hilsmier; son, Johnathon Wickline; and two grandchildren Jeffery Salisbury and Kamden Burney
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Thomas Mann and Ronald Elliott will be officiating.
Visitation also will be from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the funeral home.
