Charlotte J. (McDonald) Landers

Charlotte J. Landers, age 81 of Corunna passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

She was born on May 7, 1942 in Kendallville to Charles and Evelyn (Wolfe) McDonald. 

Charlotte married the love of her life, Donald L. Landers on August 4, 1961 in Albion.  Don resides in Corunna.

She worked at DeKalb Memorial Hospital in Auburn.  She was an active member of the Auburn Church of Christ where she enjoyed volunteering her time.  She also enjoyed volunteering her time at RSVP and Wesley Health Care in Auburn and she was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge in Ashley. 

Survivors include:

Her husband of 62 years; Donald Landers of Corunna.

Son and daughter-in-law; Edward and Tammy Landers of Lavern, Alabama.

Daughter and son-in-law; Gabrielle and Dennis Neal of Rome City.

Son and daughter-in-law; Andrew and Laura Landers of Waterloo.

Daughter and son-in-law; Candace and Craig Dickson of Auburn.

Son and daughter-in-law; Sean and Tina Landers of Butler.

11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Sister and brother-in-law; Pamela and Doug Cable of Cree Lake.

Brother and sister-in-law; Earl and Cheryl McDonald of Arizona.

Brother-in-law; Garry Coney of Albion.

Sister-in-law; Georgia McDonald of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son; Donald D. Landers, one sister; Carol Coney and one brother; Charles McDonald.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Burial will take place at Waterloo Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the Auburn Church of Christ, 208 West 18th Street, Auburn, Indiana 46706 and the Corunna Fire Department, 1111 US 6, Corunna, Indiana 46730.
