Christa Denae (Rose) Dhladhla

Christa Denae Dhladhla, age 35, of Fort Wayne passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.

Christa was born in Auburn on July 11, 1985 to Paul and Carolyn (Mansell) Rose.  She graduated from Lakewood Park Christian School in 2003. 

She married Shaka Dhladhla on October 24, 2010 at the Bible Believers Baptist Church in Churubusco, Indiana.  He resides in Fort Wayne.

Christa was a very active member of the County Line Church of God in Auburn where she was involved in many groups and served as a worship leader on Sundays.  She often used her beautiful singing voice and her gift of playing the piano and other musical instruments at church, weddings and other events.   

Christa has worked as a wellness advocate for doTERRA International for the last 5 years.  She was all about helping others in their own lives by making them feel included and helping them feel better about themselves.  She enjoyed volunteering, ministering and spending time with those in need.  She volunteered at halfway homes and was involved with Celebrate Recovery at the church.  She was always trying to make a difference and bring joy to people’s lives.  She was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister and friend.  Most of all she loved being a mom to her daughter.  Christa was a bright light and will truly be missed!

Her six year old daughter; Jada Annette Dhladhla of Fort Wayne.

Her parents; Paul and Carolyn Rose of Butler.

Sister and brother-in-law; Candace and Briton Post of Auburn.

Brother and sister-in-law; Jacob and Courtney Rose of Rome, Italy.

Brother; Justin Rose of Angola.

Nephew and niece; Henry Post and Lucy Post of Auburn.

Mother-in-law; Monica Dhladhla of Lansing, Michigan.

Brother-in-law; Siso Dhladhla of Lansing, Michigan.

And her beloved rescue dog named Buddy.

She was preceded in death by both her paternal grandparents and her maternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.  Additional visitation will be held on Saturday morning one hour prior to the funeral service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the County Line Church of God, 7716 North County Line Road East Auburn, Indiana with Pastor Stuart Kruse officiating.

Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Dhladhla Family.
