Claude W. Bell, 79, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025, at his home in Auburn surrounded by loved ones.
He was born October 10, 1945, in Jonesville, Virginia to Jessie and Dorothy (Collins) Bell.
Claude worked for the Dana Corporation in Churubusco for 31 years, retiring in 2005.
Claude enjoyed raising horses, fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He loved spending time with is family, especially his grandchildren,
Surviving are six children, Tammy (Craig) Bell-Bookout of Auburn, Angie (Gary) Gower of Butler, Patrick Bell of Cedarville, Wendy Bell of Garrett, Michael (Kristina) Bell of Auburn, and Nate Wilondek of Butler; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a brother, Victor Bell of Auburn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amy Bell; son, Gregory Bell; four sisters, Louise Call, Mable Robins, Brenda Bishop and Debra Schimf; and a brother, Charles Bell.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St, Auburn, with the Rev. Ron Stambaugh officiating.
Burial will take place at Waterloo Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the funeral home.
