Cooper Scott Wilson

Cooper Scott Wilson, 24 of Auburn Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 5, 2024. He was born in Auburn, Indiana to Liberty and Jeffery Wilson on November 14, 1999.

Cooper was known for making people laugh and was helping others. He had a huge sense of humor, and his infectious smile. To know Cooper was to love him. Cooper loved being a big brother and cousin.

Cooper found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was passionate about fishing, hunting, attending concerts, and spending quality time with his friends and family. Many of his happiest moments were spent on Hamilton Lake, where he enjoyed fishing and tubing. Cooper also had a profound love for working on cars and cooking, talents that he shared generously with those around him. He loved to be a big brother and cousin.

His father; Jeffery Wilson of Auburn.

His mother; Liberty Wilson and Steve Jacko of Eau Claire, Michigan.

His younger sister; Michael Wilson residing in Chicago.

His grandparents; MaryAnn and Tom Reincke of Hamilton; Carter Smith of Waterloo; and Jerry Wilson of Auburn.

He leaves behind his aunts; Tracy Wilson of Auburn, Melissa Smith of Waterloo, Rachel and Mitch Miller of Waterloo, and Courtney and Jeffrey Thorp of Garrett.

An uncle; Todd McCrory of Fort Wayne.

Cousins; Justin Wilson, Colton and Megan Snavely, Caleb and Natalie Smith, Haleigh Smith; Preston, Alex, Mylee, and Carlee McCrory; and Lexis, Chevi, Grace, and Brandon Thorp.

Cooper was preceded in death by his grandmother; Joyce Wilson, his uncle; Nathan Wilson and his cousin, Michael Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.

Funeral services will be held on Friday immediately following the visitation at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Lucas Fender officiating.

Memorials may be directed in memory of Cooper to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County, 780 Shelter Lane, Angola, Indiana 46703.
