Coral M (Strong) Steckley

Muncie – Coral M Steckley, 93 formerly of Auburn died Monday May 16, 2022 at Signature Health Care in Muncie, IN. She was born May 12, 1929 in Concord Township, St. Joe, IN to George and LuReign (Thomas) Strong. Coral was a 1947 graduate of St. Joe High School and a Homemaker. She was a member of the Auburn Church of Christ. She married Ernest Steckley on May 12, 1961 in Coldwater, Michigan and he passed away July 20, 1994. Surviving are 2 sons and daughter in laws, Scott and Beth Mutzfeld of Muncie and Jack and Carol Steckley of Butler; 2 step children, Judy Christlieb of Auburn, and John (Sharon) Steckley of Auburn; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Alice Hose of Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, Lloyd Strong, Grant Strong and Harry Strong, 2 sisters, Blanche Cook and June Brown. Services are 12 noon Friday May 20, 2022 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn. Calling is 1 hour prior to the service Friday from 11 to 12 at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Coral to the Auburn Church of Christ.
