Cynthia S (Hathaway) Myers

Auburn – Cynthia S Myers, 69, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at her home in Auburn surrounded by her family. She was born November 22, 1951 in Garrett to Elmer L and Laurine E.B. (Downend) Hathaway. Cindy attended Ball State University and as Food Service Director for the Garrett, Keyser, Butler School District before retiring in 2008. She was a member of New Hope Christian Center in Waterloo. She married Daniel J Myers on February 12, 1972 in Garrett and he survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Nichole E (Rick) Neuhaus of Fort Wayne and Danielle (Mike Andersen) Morgan of Auburn; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Neuhaus, Luke Neuhaus, Halyn Morgan, Zachary Morgan and Paxton Andersen,  1 great grandson, Oaklynne Paul Woods and 1 great granddaughter on the way; 5 siblings, Eston (Janet) Hathaway of Fort Wayne, George (Karen) Hathaway of Lakeland, FL, DeWayne (Carol) Hathaway of Garrett, Janet (Merritt) Scherich of Garrett and Faith Gallagher of Garrett; mother in law, Elizabeth Myers of Garrett and brother and sister in laws, Roger and Shirley McDannold, Craig and Jane Myers, and Linda and Mike Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Clifton Hathaway and Richard Hathaway and 2 sisters, Lacleeda Maurer and Mae McDannold and father in law, Jack Myers. A Memorial Service will be 11 AM Saturday July 31, 2021 at New Hope Christian Center, 900 South Center Street, Waterloo, IN with Rev Ralph Diehl officiating. Memorials can be given in Cindy’s name to New Hope Christian Center. Feller and Clark Funeral Home of Auburn is assisting the family with arrangements.
