Dana Rae (Hamman-Burton) Stoy, age 51 of Ashley passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at her Ashley home.
She was born on June 13, 1971 in Lucasville, Ohio to Wayne and Gail (Anderson) Hamman. Dana graduated from Lucasville High school. After high school she went on to earn her Indiana CMA Certification and her Indiana Dental Technician Certification. Dana promoted education and fully enjoyed reading via books or computer.
Dana married the love of her life, John D. Stoy on June 18, 2011 at the Ashley Fellowship Church. Together they made their home in Ashley where Dana worked at Hudson Industries. She enjoyed the people that she worked with and the work itself.
She was an inspirational and talented woman who wanted the best of life for all of her family and friends. She experienced many difficult and trying times in her short lifetime, however, she worked diligently to overcome and find positive solutions. Dana is now peacefully enjoying her Heavenly home.

Eight grandchildren; Brooklyn Burton, Colton Burton, Piper Burton, Addison Burton, Trey Dodridge, Avery Dodridge, Amelia Burton and Ayri Burton.
Her mother; Gail Hamman-Lands and step father, Tim Lands of Bryan, Ohio.
Sister and brother-in-law; Tammy Jo and Steve Meadows of Ohio.
Brother; Jerad Hamman of Waterloo.
Father-in-law and mother-in-law; Alfred and Anna Glick of Fort Wayne.
Father-in-law and mother-in-law; Lealon and Renee Stoy of Ashley.
Brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Lee Stoy Sr. and Sondra Stoy of Hamilton.
Five nieces, nephews and their spouses; Ryan and Stephanie (Stoy) Hall, Lee Stoy Jr. Esq. and Dr. Kayla Stoy, Kaitlyn and Nathan Firestine, Connor Stoy and Addison Stoy.
Nine great nieces and nephews; Liam Hall, Navy Hall, Selby Hall, Everly Hall, Merrick Hall, Macy Stoy, Alessa Firestine, Wesley Firestine and Opal Firestine.
The father of her sons; Richard Burton of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father; Wayne Hamman and one son; Charles Burton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Waterloo with Pastor Dave Leitzel of the Hamilton Wesleyan Church officiating.
Burial will take place at Fairfield Cemetery north of Corunna following the funeral service.
