Daniel Beaman Obituary

Daniel Evans Beaman, 76, of Hamilton Lake, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2026, at his Hamilton Lake home.

He was born on July 8, 1949, in Indianapolis to Julius and Elizabeth (Pressel) Beaman.

Dan married Connie J. (Mayer) Lloyd on October 18, 1985, in Warsaw, Indiana, and she survives in Hamilton.

Dan worked for Lectron Products in Hamilton for several years before joining TI Automotive in Ashley, where he worked until his retirement in 2010.

A dedicated genealogist, Dan spent countless hours researching family histories. He worked tirelessly tracing not only his own family roots and Connie’s family history, but also helping relatives and friends uncover their ancestry. Rather than relying solely on online records, Dan and Connie often traveled to cemeteries, libraries, and small communities to verify information and discover new pieces of family history.

One of Dan’s greatest passions was life on the water. He grew up spending time around Tippecanoe Lake and later enjoyed more than 40 years living on Hamilton Lake. He deeply loved the Hamilton Lake community and served for many years on the Hamilton Lake Association Board.

Above all, Dan cherished his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and was recently blessed with the opportunity to meet his first great-grandson. Dan was a caring, kind, and humorous man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Beaman of Hamilton; three daughters, Amy (Shane) Harris of Fort Wayne, Shelby (Mike) Naibauer of Fort Wayne, and Carolyn Lloyd of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Blade (Lina) Harris, Cooper Harris, Chance Harris, Callie Naibauer, and Sasha Naibauer; one great-grandson, Benny Harris; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Pat Beaman of Marion; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Madeline Vanderbur.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo.

A memorial service will follow the gathering at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will take place later at the Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton.
