Dario C. Dominguez, age 49, of Kendallville passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 02, 1971 to Angel G. Dominguez and Rosalba Camarena Ruiz. He went to elementary school in Chicago, middle school in Uriangato Guanajuato Mexico, and then high school in Wheeling, Illinois. Growing up he was always active and athletic. Always making friends with his humor and good heart.
He got married in Mexico to the love of his life Maria and had his first daughter Jocelyn there. From there they moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where he had his first son Dario Jr. They then he moved them to Ligonier, Indiana where he then had his second son Jony. Continually working hard with his wife to save up where they eventually managed to buy their first home together in Kendallville, Indiana. There they had their second daughter Mili and third son Miguel.
He had many passions throughout life, in Mexico he trained and became a black belt in Taekwondo; family and friends who had the chance to watch his tournaments said that it appeared like he would fly and he received countless trophies in both Mexico and Chicago. He worked many jobs throughout his life, but his last occupation was ultimately his dream to be his own boss and own his own company where he was able to cut the biggest trees he could find. He also loved gold, cars, boats, billiards, chess, sports, weightlifting, boxing and spending time with his family.
He had a heart of gold and always enjoyed giving rather than receiving. He was such a great husband, a great father, a great grandfather, a great son, a great brother, a great uncle, a great cousin you name it. He treated everyone as he would a close friend even if you were just a stranger. He taught everyone that hard work pays off and that with God nothing is impossible. Dario also emphasized how important education was to his children, and always told everyone to follow their dreams. He remarkably demonstrated how to live and love life to the fullest.
