Darla K. Krafft, 73, passed away on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at her daughter’s residence in St. Joe, Indiana.
She was born on Sept. 23, 1951, in Garrett, Indiana, to Willard and Eloise (Holmes) Vachon.
Darla was a 1969 graduate of Eastside High School in Butler.
Darla was an independent, dedicated, hard worker. She was store manager at SuperValu in Auburn (Scott’s) for 30 years, retiring in 2016.
She enjoyed doing puzzles and reading.
Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Shayna D. and Mark Stucky, of Warren and Melissa S. and Danny Hankey, of St. Joe; three grandchildren, Jesse (Julie) Hankey, Blake Stucky and Jada Hankey; brother-in-law, Fred Diehl, of Auburn; two nieces, Jennifer and Scott Ewaskowitz, of Schofield, Wisconsin, and Debra and Rick Weathers, of Simpsonville, South Carolina; and four great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Karen S. Diehl.
Services will be held at 3 p.m., on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Greg Krafft officiating.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
