Darwin L Skelly

Waterloo – Darwin L Skelly, 66 of Waterloo passed away Tuesday October 14, 2025 at Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born January 20, 1959 in Auburn to Harold R and Laurine E (Pairan) Skelly.

Darwin was a 1977 graduate of DeKalb High School. After graduation, he traveled to California and worked Highway Construction for a few years. He then became a financial advisor and founded his own company, Pacific Network Funding, Inc. In 2011 he returned to Indiana.

He was a member of the Pleasant Chapel Church of the Brethren and enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing.

Darwin is survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters and their spouses, Janet Ramsey of Fort Wayne, Amos and Marge Skelly of Corunna, Marvin and Julie Skelly of Ashley, Martha and Roger Tubbs of Hudson and Linda Skelly of Auburn; former brother-in-law and his wife, Paul (Cheryl) Thomas of Angola and several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, companion, Estela Tamillo, sister, Marlene Thomas, brother and sister-in-law, James and Carol Skelly, brother-in-law, Dean Ramsey.

Services will be 2 PM Saturday October 18, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home. 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN 46793 with burial to follow the service in Fairfield Cemetery in Corunna. Calling is 4 hours prior to the service Saturday from 10 to 2 PM at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Darwin to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Riley Children’s Hospital.
