David G Freeburn

Garrett – David G Freeburn, 75 of Garrett passed away Friday May 30, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born December 17, 1949 in Auburn to Paul E and Gladys V (Cribbs) Freeburn.

David worked for 37 years at Foamex in Auburn until his retirement in 2015.

He was a member of The Church of Christ in Garrett and volunteered at the La Otto food bank. He enjoyed coffee and breakfast with the guys every week.

David is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anita (Day) Freeburn. They were married July 31, 1971 in Auburn. Also surviving is a daughter, Michelle L Likes of Garrett; grandson, Kagan Likes of Garrett and a brother, Cecil E Freeburn of Auburn. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Kirsten E Likes.

Services will be 3 PM, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN 46706 with burial to follow in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett.
