David P. Kelty

David P. Kelty, 59 of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.  He was born on December 1, 1965 in Fort Wayne to Edward Richard and Loretta M. (Putnam) Kelty.

He had worked for the last several years at Mossberg Industries in Garrett. 

David enjoyed building projects as well as fixing and repairing things, he enjoyed tinkering.

David is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Louise and Steven Hartman of Fort Wayne, Joseph and Ellen Kelty of Harrison, Arkansas, Julie and Ronald Weaver of Angola, James and Linda Kelty of Fort Wayne, Dr. Richard Kelty of Fort Wayne, Laura and Edward Scherschel of New Haven, Daniel and Pam Kelty of Shelbyville, Indiana, John Kelty of Fort Wayne, Dr. Gerald and Jamie Kelty of Fort Wayen and Stephen Kelty of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Marvene Kelty of Fort Wayne; brother-in-law, Daniel Granahan of Spokane, Washington; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and his special friend of 16 years, Dawn Taylor of Auburn.

David was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dr. Robert Kelty; one sister, Mary Ellen Granahan and one nephew, Neil Kelty.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
