Debra L. (Obodzinski) Bammel

Debra L. Bammel, 64, passed away, Thursday, December 5, 2024, at her home in Auburn.

She was born September 21, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan to Anthony and Judy (Trojan) Obodzinski. They have both preceded her in death.

Deb married Merle Bammel on December 9, 1994, in Albion, Indiana.

She was an inspector for Starcraft RV for 10 years. She then went to work for Gallops as a clerk in the Liquor department, retiring in 2023.

She was a member of the American Legion Post 241 of Waynedale.

Also surviving are two step-children, Shellie and Brian Harshberger of South Bend, and Tara Fetter of Ferndale, Michigan; three sisters, Sherry Hill of Detroit, Michigan, Lori Obodzinski of Holly, Michigan, and Cindy Keats of Lewiston, Michigan; sister-in-law, Sue Dauberger of Macomb, Michigan; and a brother-in-law, Tim Bammel of Milford.

A celebration of Debra’s life will take place from 1 – 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn. There will be a service for Deb at 3 p.m. on Saturday, following the gathering.
