Denise A. (Harris) Shaffer

Denise A. Shaffer, 63, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020, at her home in Auburn.

She was born in Buckhannon, West Virginia to Willard and Evelyn (Henderson) Harris. They have both preceded her in death.

Denise married Raymond Shaffer on February 14, 1985, in Philippi, West Virginia, and he passed away February 10, 2008.

She was a member of the Church at Garrett.

Denise enjoyed baking, crafts and the time spent with her daughter, Amanda. The two of them always enjoyed a laugh and had a lot of fun together.

Surviving are a daughter, Amanda D. Shaffer of Auburn; son, Micheal Shamblin of Illinois; sister, Lois Oglesby of Georgia; sister-in-law, Carol Harris of Georgia; cousin, Ann Barcus of Grafton, West Virginia and Ann’s daughter, Sandi Jenkins Lutrell of Grafton, West Virginia.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020, at the Church at Garrett, 1370 S. Randolph St., Garrett, with Pastor Tom Wilcoxson officiating.
