Dianna Shields Obituary

Dianna L. Shields, 67, of Auburn, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

She was born February 23, 1954, in Fort Wayne to Charles and Lucille (Carper) Zuver.

Dianna married James E. “Jim” Shields on February 24, 1991, in Waterloo, and he passed away July 19, 2016.

She worked at Artistic Carton Box Factory in Auburn for over 25 years. She also was an Avon Representative for several years.

Dianna was a very sweet and loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are two daughters, Kimberly A. Christlieb of Garrett and Tiffany L.N. Shields of Auburn; two grandchildren, Ella Raelyn Thorp and Gabriel M. Thorp; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy and Tom Lonergan of Fort Wayne and Brenda and Ernie McCowan of Fort Wayne; and a brother, Steve Zuver of Loganville, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Tony Zuver.

A celebration of Dianna’s life will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Auburn Church of the Nazarene, 2301 Main St., Auburn, with the Rev. Mark Mahoney officiating.

Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive friends from noon – 1 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021, prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Tiffany Shields to help with expenses.
