Dock Davidson, 88, of Auburn, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, with his family at his side.
Dock was born in Perry County, Kentucky, on June 22, 1930, to the late Garfield and Laura (Deaton) Davidson.
On Dec. 11, 1948, in Salem, he married Ellice Fugate and she survives in Auburn.
He worked as an inspector for the Auburn Foundry for 40 years, retiring in 1992.
Dock was a member of the Waterloo Freewill Baptist Church in Waterloo.
Surviving are three sons, Fred (Mildred) Miller of Auburn, Beckham (Brenda) Davidson of Auburn, and Dave (Karen) Davidson of Waterloo; nine grandchildren, Michelle (Brad) Pfefferkorn, Angela (Andy) Culbertson, Skylar Davidson, Tyson (Lindsey) Davidson, Jason Davidson, Marcene Heckman, Todd Froelich, Lisa Schenkel and Miranda Hayes; 12 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Harold Wayne Davidson who passed away in 1982; three brothers; and one sister.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Waterloo Freewill Baptist Church, 2833 C.R. 27, Waterloo, with the Rev. Ron Stambaugh officiating.
Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
